New products: Morgan push-off power-saving full color LED display
Morgan is famous with is technology in LED display field. In the pass half year Morgan was committed with R&D and testing new products, the final result showing that this full color LED display use less than 50% power than the traditional one. As we all know that the traditional LED display has advantage of saving energy and protecting environment. Morgan made this improvement as a new and development step in LED display. It can reduce the user’s operating cost. Take a PH16 outdoor full color display total 100sqm, work 14hours per day as an example, in evidence, it will save more than 120,000 degrees power in a year. If we calculate by USD0.7 a degree, it will save USD17,143, that should be a big amount.
For this new product, the designer is follow the below rules:
A) Using the new cooling design: use the optimal cooling outlet with push-pull force the hot are flow circulation and the strengthening of natural convection, in this case, we don’t need to install fans for cooling and it is reach to the environment protect.
B) Using high-efficiency switching power supply: the effective of the power supply is reach to 90%, with PFC and synchronous rectifier circuit, it can reduce energy loss.
C) Separating the power supply to the light and drive: low voltage supply to the light board, 5v supply to the drive board.
D) Using highlight LED as mainly materials: adage the drive parameters to reach the target of power saving
E) Optimize the outlet of PCB components and PCB drive proposal, that the power use reasonable. |
